Davy Crockett Classic Bicycle Race - Family Event

May 4th and 5th, the city of Crockett will be hosting the 7th Edition of The Davy Crockett Classic in historic downtown Crockett, Texas! After a 1-year break, these amazing competitive riders will once again take to the streets of our great town! We want to welcome the hundreds of cyclists and their families who travel here from all over the USA and other countries by having an after-race get together on Camp Street in downtown Crockett. A great opportunity for the kids to see a national event and awards ceremony happen right here in our town!

Camp Street will be closed from 2:00pm until 8pm for food vendors and the Awards Ceremony. To help celebrate, our very own local music group The Rooftop Travelers will be playing inside Bear Hall to end the evening.

The food vendors will be set up on Camp Street so you can enjoy some food and wait as the riders come in. Awards will begin at 5:30pm and go until approximately 6:15. Rooftop Travelers will follow and start on stage inside Bear Hall at 6:30 and play until 8:00pm for the conclusion of the event. This is open to the public and is a family event. Rooftop Travelers will take a break at 8, then finish their regular set afterwards.
